Trainee Software Engineer (TSE):
This is an entry-level position. BE - IT, BE - Computer Science or an MCA is the likely candidate for the position of Trainee Software Engineer (TSE). However in some cases, BCA fresher with exceptional skill set can also be considered for the position of Trainee Software Engineer (TSE). Here his/her primary task is to pick up expertise in various tools in software development while developing software programs. TSE in is not allowed to work in any live projects. We invest considerable amount of resource to train the TSE till he/she is qualified of the next level.



Junior Software Engineer (JSE):
Trainee Software Engineer (TSE) is the likely candidate for the position of Jr. Software Engineer (JSE). However in some cases, BE - IT, BE - Computer Science or an MCA fresher with exceptional skill set can also be considered for the position of Jr. Software Engineer (JSE) directly. The typical time frame for promotion from a Trainee Software Engineer (TSE) to a Jr. Software Engineer (JSE) is 6 months to 1 year (depending on the performance).



Software Engineer (SE):
Jr. Software Engineer (JSE) is promoted within the organization as a Software Engineer (SE). However in some cases, Trainee Software Engineer (TSE) with exceptional skill set can also be promoted to the Position of Software Engineer (SE) directly. The typical time frame for promotion from a Jr. Software Engineer (JSE) to a Software Engineer (SE) is 6 months to 1 year (depending on the performance).



Sr. Software Engineer (SSE):
This is a position with project management responsibilities. This is a position with supervisory responsibilities. Software Engineer (SE) is promoted within the organization as a Sr. Software Engineer (SE). The typical time frame for promotion from a Software Engineer (SE) to a Sr. Software Engineer (SSE) is 6 months to 1 year (depending on the performance).



Team Leader (TL):
This is a position with supervisory responsibilities throughout the life cycle of an IT project. Here the person may have the added responsibility of interacting with customers and leading a team in addition to developing software. Sr. Software Engineer (SSE) is promoted within the organization as a Team Leader (TL). However in some cases, Software Engineer (SE) with exceptional skill set can also be promoted to the Position of Team Leader (TL) directly. The typical time frame for promotion from a Sr. Software Engineer (SSE) to a Team Leader (SE) is 6 months to 1 year (depending on the performance).



Project Manager (PM):
The Project Manager takes charge of a project, sets project standards, works to build customer relationships, provides technical assistance to the project team, develops a good work atmosphere in the project team, and works as an interface with other internal departments. Team Leader (TL) is promoted within the organization as a Project Manager (PM). The typical time frame for promotion from a Team Leader (TL) to Project Manager (PM) is 1 to 2 years (depending on the performance).
